As one of their more popular recipe collections, the publishers at Workman wanted to give this book a digital upgrade that would be kitchen-friendly, and also allow the user to plan appropriately. Project Details are below.

Challenges and Solutions
In addition to highlighting the beautiful photography to maintain the look and feel of the print content, the navigation of the content was improved with the digital upgrade.
+ Images have equal emphasis in size and placement as the text-based content to preserve the look and feel of the original print book design.
+ The main ice cream recipes often called for compound ingredients that could be made from recipes found in the back of the book. For example, the Goat Cheese Ice Cream recipe called for roasted cherries, the recipe for which was in the Appendix. The Appendix recipes were incorporated within the main recipes by using pop-up text boxes, allowing the user to access the relevant ingredient information in one place.
+ A "Tasting Notes" section was added to each main recipe so that the user could input their own notes on each recipe for future use.
